The basics of learning to dribble plus movement, i.e. dribbling on go!
1. Have strong basic skills
2, can take time to learn.
When dribbling on move, we usually choose two actions!
1. Natural dribbling, keep ball in front of you, dribble mainly through elbow to apply power, wrist and fingers to control flexibility. This type of dribble is usually used when defender is not present or defender is far away and backcourt is advancing.
2.Protect dribble, drop your center of gravity, be ready to start and accelerate at a moment's notice, protect ball with one hand to side or front of body, and flex and reach forward naturally with other hand, blocking defender's path copy ball.
Working out basic skills of walking movements
Practice dribbling with one hand
Practice changing direction before marching
Exercise on perineum during march
March practice
We train dribbling on move to break through, so we have to pay attention to two things: one is to protect ball, and other is to accelerate after a change of direction (increased coordination and explosive training). Without action to protect ball, it is easy to copy, and without speeding up after a change of direction, it is easy for a dropped defender to catch up.
The do's and don'ts of dribbling on move!
1. Pay attention to protection of ball when dribbling.
2. Note instantaneous acceleration after change of direction.
3. Pay attention to movement of wrist when changing direction, hand also has an auxiliary power when needed!
