Today we will start talking about techniques in basic techniques. The main technical paradigms of basic technique include ball holding technique, catching technique, passing technique, throwing technique and dribbling technique, etc. In technical paradigm of each technique, it can be transformed and used according to requirements of real combat competitions. Since this is only for friends with zero foundation and my own understanding is limited, I will only talk about most basic forms of various ball handling techniques.
1. How to hold ball
There are two forms of holding ball: two-handed and one-handed, and each form is divided into basic and stealth. 3. Passing technique
Passing is most important and widely used offensive basic skill, and link for tactical coordination in offense. There are many ways to pass ball, most common being two-handed chest pass and one-handed pass. The technique of passing ball with two hands is as follows: based on technique of holding ball with two hands, with help of kicks on ground, move center of gravity of body forward, quickly straighten arms, simultaneously press hard with thumb, bend wrist forward and push ball forward with index and middle fingers . One-handed passing method: based on holding ball with one hand, using foot on ground and moving body's center of gravity forward, arm swings forward, while wrist of hand of passing hand quickly bends forward, and fingers quickly pick up ball to act on ball, forcing ball fly towards target. When passing, pay attention to following points: ①, ball flight path (straight line, arc, broken line) ②, ball landing point ③, wrist and fingers to move ball.
4. Shooting technique
Throw is ultimate goal of all moves and tactics. All offensive action is to shoot ball into basket. This is most important skill in basketball games. Therefore, throwing method plays an important role in basketball technique. There are many shooting techniques, most common of which are high-handed two-handed shooting, low-handed two-handed shooting, high-handed single-handed shooting, and low-handed single-handed shooting.
The way two-handed masters throw ball is as follows: based on technique of high-handed holding ball with both hands and strength of lower limbs, arms are extended forward and upward, forearm rotates inward, thumb is pressed, wrist is bent forward, and food, Push ball with middle finger and throw ball through your fingertip. (This method is mainly used for women, but now, with improvement of physical fitness, many women will also adopt position of a one-handed shooting master)
Two-Handed Shot
The method of throwing ball with both hands of low hand is as follows: based on holding ball with both hands low and kicking ground with lower limbs, extend arms forward and upward and at same time rotate wrists of both hands upward using strength of little finger, ring finger and middle finger Throw ball.
Low hand two-handed strike
High-handed one-handed throw method: Based on technique of holding ball with one hand with a high hand, left hand holds ball to left, right hand bends elbow, and shoulder is close to ground level. When throwing, use strength of lower limbs and other places, while straightening right arm forward and upward, bending wrist forward, and push ball with index and middle fingers, and throw ball through fingertips. (Note that fingers follow action after throw, index and middle fingers indicate direction of ball flight)
One-Handed Master Shot

Dribbling is an important skill for individual attack and teamwork with peers in a basketball game. Dribbling refers to process of action in which fingers and wrists are constantly pressing down on bat to cause ball to bounce off ground. The dribbling technique is as follows: when dribbling, non-dominant arm bends elbow and raises it flat to protect ball. The five fingers of dominant hand are naturally open, facing away and forward from body, actively meeting rebounded ball. off ground and follow movement of ball. The force is buffered up, and then ball is pressed down hard, and so on. Press ball on back side of ball as you go forward and press outside of ball as you change direction. The part where racket presses ball must be consistent with direction and speed of movement. The connection between ball and ground must be such that angle of impact and angle of reflection are equal.

Tips for basic methods:
1. During use, two-handed ball-handling technique can be changed to a one-handed ball-handling technique, and one-handed ball-holding technique can also be changed to a two-handed ball-handling technique. It is also possible to switch between masters and junior hands. The single-handed shooting technique from lower hand can be changed to hook or left hand shooting technique and so on.
2. Which throwing technique to use depends on specific defensive situation in game. The key to basketball technique is accuracy of force when releasing ball. Therefore, whatever throwing technique is used, it must be stable and accurate.
3. There can be many variations in dribbling technique, such as a combination of pushing forward and pulling back, left and right dribbling in front of body alternately with left and right hand, left and right dribbling in front of body with one hand, etc., each All types of dribbling can be combined with body movements to confuse an opponent's feint while waiting for an opportunity to lead out of bounds.
Next time, I'll share some basic footwork techniques and basic exercises with you.
