Exercise 1. Straight line combined with speed dribbling

One ball per person, split into several groups and train in sequence. The first group of dribbles begins and when you hear command again you can slow down or dribble on spot. Repeat 3 to 5 times until you reach opposite end line. After first group has finished, second group starts to train.

Requirements: Maintain dribbling posture with a low center of gravity, experience in handling ball with finger and wrist parts, proper dribbling technique, coordinate with steps, and control body's center of gravity when lucky.

Exercise 2. Change of dribble direction, dribble and turn.

Each participant holds a ball and stands with two large feet, with end lines on either side. Marking poles are installed on site. Dribble to marker post to change direction, then to next marker post to change direction until after last marker post in front yard, dribble, run and shoot. This exercise can be replaced with a dribble and turn, or a combination of change of direction and turn after dribbling.

Requirements: Maintain correct posture while dribbling. When changing direction and turning, control center of gravity to maintain stability. The movements are quick and sudden, acceleration is obvious, and there is a clear sense of rhythm of practice.

Drill 5. Practicing one-on-one dribbling in offense and defense throughout court

Train in groups of two with same ball in turn. Two groups play at same time, lead one on one to center line, pass ball to receiver, and then get rid of defense with their bare hands, receive pass and lead to a layup. This drill only requires blocking positions initially and no cannons can play ball. With an increase in technical level, it gradually moves from passive protection to active protection.

Requirements: The attacker must be flexible in use of various dribbling skills and in a timely manner to pass ball to responder near center of field. The defender must actively move, choose an advantageous defensive position and interfere with opponent properly in accordance with requirements of routine.
