Today I will talk about shooting techniques. There are many shooting methods. Different shooting methods can be classified according to form and features of application on spot. There are three main shooting techniques used in basketball games: standing shot, running shot, and jump shooting.
When it comes to shooting skills, there are a few points that everyone should pay attention to, namely:
1. Aiming point
The point at which eye is fixed on hoop or backboard during a shot for a field goal. It consists of accurately visually measuring direction and distance of a shot to determine angle of shot, amount of force, speed of ball, and height of arc of ball. According to different aiming points when shooting, it can be divided into two types: aiming point of hollow basket and aiming point when hitting board. The aiming point of a hollow basket is usually middle of leading edge of ring; point of aim when hitting boards is a point on backboard as a point of aim and ball can bounce back into basket. when shooting at this moment. When hitting a shot board, a suitable aiming point should be chosen according to factors such as throw position, distance, ball flight arc and ball spin. The general rule is that if angle of impact is small and distance is large, distance between aiming point and ring is small and close. Generally speaking, when kicker and shield form an angle of 15~45°, rebound effect is better.
2. Ball spin
When thrown, ball's spin is created by bending or turning wrist and touching ball with fingers. Since shooting method is different from direction and magnitude of force, spin of ball is also different. As a rule, when shooting at medium and long distances, ball mainly rotates backwards around horizontal axis, so that you can easily increase arc of ball and increase percentage of shot. When thrown under basket, ball must rotate forward around a horizontal axis. When hitting a basket under basket, ball must be turned away from hoop or back, which helps to weaken elasticity of backboard and allows ball to enter basket.
3. Parabola and basket corner
When shooting, arc trajectory of ball in space after shot is called shooting parabola. The height of parabola is directly related to whether or not you can get right basket angle, which has an important impact on hit percentage. The height of parabola depends on angle of shot, power of shot, and speed of shot. Therefore, when shooting, it is necessary to throw different parabolas in accordance with different shooting distances. There are three types of shooting parabolas: low, medium and high.
In ground parabolic shooting, range of ball is short and power is easy to control, but because arc of ball is too low and below level, area of the rim exposed to ball is small, and most of it is covered by front edge of basket.going to basket is very small, so it is difficult to make a throw; highest point of mid-parabolic ball is approximately in line with edge of backboard and most of basket is exposed under ball, so angle of entry into basket is obtained. It is suitable, so it is easy to shoot and hit basket. arc of high parabolic ball flying into basket is too high, close to vertical, although area of the ring exposed under ball is largest, ball enters basket easily, but due to flight of ball to catch direction of flight, which affects speed of impact.
Of course, everyone has their own shooting habits, and in end, they can determine shooting pose, shooting angle, etc. according to their habits.
The most common forms of shooting in basketball mainly include shots on spot, running shots, jumps and shots after catching ball, jumps and shots after dribbling, and main actions are as follows:
1. Shoot on location
(1) Shooting with both hands in front of chest
Holding ball in front of chest in technique of holding ball in front of chest with a natural descent of elbow joints, feet are forward-backward or left-right, knees are slightly bent, center of gravity falls between two legs, and eyes are fixed on aiming point. When throwing, plant your lower limbs on ground, extend your body forward and upward, and use a two-handed master to throw ball. When ball is released, body naturally stretches in direction of shot.

(2) Shoulder strike with one hand
The right hand holds ball on shoulder in one-handed swing technique, left hand supports left side of ball, right hand bends elbow, and shoulder is close to ground level. Stand with your feet forward-backward or left-right, with your knees slightly bent and your center of gravity between your feet. When throwing, plant your lower limbs on ground, stretch your body forward and upward, and use one-handed prowess to throw ball. When ball is released, body naturally stretches in direction of shot.

2. Shooting in motion
(1) Dual Hand Shooting
Catch ball by moving your right (left) foot mid-swing, then take a small step with your left (right) foot and push hard off ground. After jump, stretch body to basket as much as possible, hold ball with both hands, and when body reaches highest point in air, use technique of throwing with two hands from lower hand.

(2) Shooting with one hand from a low hand and from a high hand (for example, shooting from right hand)
While running, take a big step with your right (left) foot and catch ball at same time, then take a small step with your left (right) foot and hit ground hard to push off, lift your knee with your right (left) foot, and move your arms forward and lift ball up. When body is free and close to highest point, use one-handed throw technique from bottom hand to throw ball and extend body as far as possible towards basket on throw.
One-handed underhand strike in motion
The technique of single-handed shooting from a high hand on move is basically same as when shooting from a low hand.

3. Emergency stop and jump shot
(1) Shooting with one hand (let's take shooting with right hand as an example)
When stepping or jumping to catch ball while moving, lower your center of gravity, bend your legs and point your toes towards basket to assume a basic standing position, then quickly push off and lift ball. with both hands at same time. When body is in air and close to highest point, use one-handed basic throw technique to throw ball.

(2) Dribbling, bouncing and throwing (take right hand throw as an example)
When dribbling, use a jump step or step stop to get into a basic standing position, then quickly push off and lift ball with both hands at same time. When body is close to highest point, use one-handed master throw method to throw ball.

Shooting technique tips:
1. There are many ways to throw, such as hook throws, rollover throws, dunks, faded shots, etc.
2. The shooting method can be flexibly used according to defensive situation, and can be converted to each other, such as conversion of high-handed shooting and low-handed shooting, conversion of low-handed single-handed shooting shooting and hook shooting, etc. < /p>
3. Various moves can be used to change positional relationship with enemy when shooting, create favorable shooting opportunities and strike decisively when enemy is far away.
4. In real combat, whichever method of shooting is used, it should be determined depending on specific situation. It should be used in combination with other techniques, especially fictitious techniques. By combining shooting and extraordinary skills, create best shot.
