There are many factors that affect power of a shot. The swing of hip affects strength of ball, and speed of swing of lower leg affects speed of ball. There are also a number of factors, such as strength of your leg muscles, your pace adjustment, and position in which you eat ball, that affect power of your long shots.
Kicking a ball against a wall with proper posture doesn't have to focus on strength, only skill. After a few hundred wall kicks with your left and right foot, you will probably master skill, and after a few months of practice, you will be able to get out of mountain.
