In football, lowering your center of gravity is not as easy as bending your knees. The defensive posture and pace of game in basketball is somewhat similar to football, but height of center of gravity is completely different. In basketball with and without ball, center of gravity is lower than in football, and control of center of gravity in football is more difficult to control than in basketball. If you want to perform better both offensively and defensively, then you must learn to control your body's center of gravity.
1. Break through defender
When dribbling, center of gravity is equal to "waist", that is, when dribbling ball, height of center of gravity relative to control is equivalent to position of waist. When attacking with dribbling, try to control center of gravity so that it is suitable for start, making false movements and accelerating run, while center of gravity should not be too low.
2. Defenders
The center of gravity is equal to "buttocks" when defending. That is, center of gravity should fall to height of hips when protecting close. Dash and generate defensive aggression against attackers.
