Besides physical strength and speed, most important attribute is ball control
Keep ball firmly under your feet and you are in control of game.
Many beginner kickers don't know how to systematically train their ability to control ball
Today we will recommend a set of training aids for practicing ball handling skills.
1. Triangular ball control
Place ball in front of you, step on ball with one foot and tilt it back,
Then switch to other leg,
Gently move other foot forward,
The first leg pulls him back again,
The course of ball forms a triangle, and frequency of movement must be fast.
(Focus on right leg training)
(Focus on training your left leg)
2. 360 degree ball steps
Take ball at center point, step on ball alternately with your left and right foot,
Simultaneously rotate your body around ball.
Hold ball in place for as long as possible.
3. Control ball inside and outside foot
Turn ball with one foot to side,
Pull ball back with inside of your foot and practice a few times to increase your speed.
4. Control ball around your legs
Stand still on one foot and control ball with other foot
And let ball spin around supporting leg,
Don't demand high speed, just be steady and train your balance at same time.
(The right foot is supporting foot, practice ball control with left foot)
(The left foot is supporting one, trains ball control with right foot)
5. V-shaped ball control
Place ball in front of you, step on ball with one foot and pull back,
Pull forward and flip to other side.
Then step on ball with your other foot and pull it back, then move it to other side,
By repeating action, football line resembles letter V.
6. Continuous control of ball with outside of foot
Throw ball out twice in a row with outside of your foot, then pull ball back,
To touch ball twice in a row with outside lift of other leg.
7. Butterfly with flowers
The ball is on one side of body,
Go around ball with foot away from ball, from front to other side of ball,
Stand on other leg.
The essence of this workout is not to touch ball in process of dribbling ball in a circle,
8. The outsole allows ball to roll
Touch top of ball with sole of one foot,
Slightly rolling over to other leg,
Then repeat with sole of other foot.
9. Rolling and pressing ball
Push your foot on top of ball outward,
Move ball inward,
Do same with the other leg.
The above training methods to improve ball control,
You can use 30 seconds as a loop for each element
After completing cycle, rest 15 seconds in middle
Then move on to next element.
