As powerful as technology is, it cannot be separated from supporting basic skills. Basic table tennis skills can be divided into vision skills, hand skills and foot skills. Returning ball to table is a test of three skills of six students at a frequency of 40 balls per minute.
Before game, Mr. Wang Liqin demonstrated basics of returning ball to table. After receiving ball, ball must be returned and hit opposite surface of table for ball to be considered valid.
The blue team that won last round plays first.
Because difference between ball sent by machine and ball played by a human is still small, this has caused many difficulties for students in competition. But they overcome difficulties. In end, blue team got 75 goals.
Three students from white team, who played later, were more stable, they beat blue team by an absolute advantage of 15 goals.
Three rounds of confrontation
After laying foundation, you need to test and accept results in real combat. In men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles, six pupils of blue and white teams will play, 10 goals in each game, and winner of team will be determined by final total score.
Although Li Zhengyang of white team said that he did not fully use his strength in competition, he still won men's singles competition with a score of 11:6. Yuan Genyi, losing blue team, said he would work harder and strive to play better in future.
In women's singles, strength of blue team is even higher. As a result, she easily won with a score of 11:2. Zhang Fangqian of white team, who lost game, expressed her fearlessness that she would continue to strengthen real martial training.
In mixed doubles, two students on blue team held racket with one right hand and other with their left, respectively. Not only did they silently cooperate, but they also had upper hand in movement of racquet. game, and finally won.
Finally, Wang Liqin presented gold sports medal with a green leaf to blue team that won team victory.
In addition to blue team, Wang Liqin also presented gold medal to Zhou Zihan from white team. Her relentless sportsmanship won her award after she kept going despite repeated first-round losses.
