Let's consider this golfer's question. I just started learning how to attack from right. When I first learned to attack from right, do I need to rotate my lower back and abduct my forearm and lean my body forward all time? time? This is standard of action.
1. Learning to play ball step by step
Many textbooks, including many online training videos, make extensive use of training terms such as this: on a forehand, lean forward, tilt your weight forward slightly, and then rotate your lower back to dribble racket as you swing racket. racquet (close racquet) moves forearm up and forward to swing racquet. This emphasis is relatively broad. Looking at these literal meanings, it is still impossible to learn how to attack from right.
For example, I am currently teaching two beginners.
First of all, it's very good coordination. Perhaps he learned to dance earlier or was born with better coordination. He knows how to coordinate lower and upper limbs well. forearms., can be well coordinated.
The second child was born with poor coordination, he cannot move his lower limbs when he moves his upper limbs, and his upper limbs become unstable when he moves his lower limbs.
We told him about this set of speech skills for these two children. Can they play well? If first child does not have very good coordination, he can immediately continue when he says or does an action.
But most beginners are in same position as a second child. Although they are not born with poor coordination, most people are not so well coordinated.
Including many golfers, they may have reached a certain age. His coordination alone is not as good as a child's natural coordination. His muscles and joints are not as flexible. He is relatively tough. Firstly, he can do so much. Don't remember, secondly, he has poor coordination, and thirdly, if he says that he can take care of top, but not bottom, the whole movement will be deformed.
Second, framework stability
Tell him what is correct position for game and let him practice swing with his bare hands first. Don't ask him to move his lower limbs first, there is no need to tell him how his upper limbs move first.
He is whole, you can try it yourself, even if lower back does not turn, arms are extended, and when swinging hip joints naturally turn, it cannot be fixed. If you fix it to death, how to shoot to right and to rear?
So, for beginners, we mainly focus on movements of his upper limbs. First set up frame of motion of upper limbs to ensure its stability, and then consider interaction of your lower and upper limbs.
Third, hold down beat
(1) Provisioning Status
The first state I teach is ready state. After racket is mastered, state in front of racket is ready for a fixed hold. The fixed racket is designed to first prepare posture for action and keep shape of racket. At this time, I don't ask him to move my wrist, and I don't ask him to move his hand a lot. This is how I taught you to hold a stationary racket in my Horizontal Ping Pong for All People, and many people have benefited from it.
(2) Status pending decision
The state after paddle is completed is called prejudgment state. In a state of prejudgment, he will tell him that head of racquet is pointing in right direction, your forearm is basically at level of white end line of racquet. table, and your racquet is mostly directly above table top and almost parallel to it, angle of racquet surface is fixed, about 80 degrees, and remains unchanged.
(3) Final State
Then we slowly move up. After hitting ball, state is in front of our forehead, and place between eyebrows remains unchanged. At this time, we can see that angle of racket has not changed. Forearm, Regardless of whether shoulders and elbows are raised joints, this is final state.
Fixed hold may require an action to be fixed in only two states: a prejudgment and a final state. It shouldn't be too long, about one minute. Enough from 30 seconds to one. a minute to form an action frame. Structural memory or muscle memory, make a group of about 10, movement frame will basically form a memory in mind, this is much better than asking him to make a movement at beginning, this is first method we talked about, then there is first stage - this is practice of holding racket.
Fourth, swing with your bare hands
Don't think about playing on stage at beginning, because after playing on stage you will always think about hitting ball on stage. Such is human nature. When you hit ball on stage, shape and surface of your racket will naturally deform, most of them will deform because human nature is afraid that ball will fall out of net. , so let students do it repeatedly and continuously from beginning to reach standard of continuous and stable performance.
We also need to, for example, hold shot for 10 seconds in prejudgment state, and then slowly move up to final state for another 10 seconds, and then slowly return to prejudgment state. Then stop for another 10 seconds, and repeat this again, also doing 30 sets. Usually kids can only do 20 or 30 sets. After 20 or 30 sets, take a break. For example, for an enlightenment lesson, it takes 1 hour. about half an hour to complete previous workout of holding racquet and bare-handed swing just mentioned. After training, he mostly has muscle memory.
Five, multi-ball boost
(1) Develop your sense of ball
Then use some balls to feed him. If it is a regular amateur ball, you can use a ball machine. Many children like to look at ball and when they hit ball they slow down. Let their eyes look forward, not at ball, and just think about what is happening in their hearts If some children are really easily deformed after hitting ball Yes, you can teach him to close his eyes during sending process, just close your eyes and do movement. You send ball into his hands. If you send ball well, he can still hit it. He closes his eyes. Make movements to experience feeling of hitting ball.
(2) Find rhythmSend ball
Once this feeling is established, he will start playing very quickly. During enlightenment, if coach serves ball and another coach holds student's movements and leads him to hit ball, his experience will be even better. It's better because he didn't have such a good sense of rhythm when he first learned ball, so this method is best.
General education coaches must be able to throw ball. You must be able to find swinging motion of students as they serve ball, not your own rhythm. Wait for him to recover before putting racquet back and look for rhythm of student's entire swing instead of doing random moves on your own.
As a rule, this is an unprofessional trainer or not very experienced. As a rule, old coaches can find rhythm of students. Students may not take stage in first grade as long as talent is a bit normal. Children of this level can usually get on stage normally within an hour, and they can get on stage with movements that are closer to standard.
After mastering method, general education trainers should be able to do it. In second lesson, they can basically guarantee that bowl of marbles will be served. This piece looks very simple, but there is actually a lot more to come inside.
I won't talk about it today, in future Shifu will also film some special lectures on enlightenment methods for beginners, and I'll explain it to you in detail in future. If you have any technical questions about table tennis, you can also leave a message on official WeChat account on Pingpong.com at bottom of article, as well as ask questions in questions area on official Pingpong website. com.
