1. I understand theory of force, but it doesn't work in practice. How can I practice?
(1) When using force, first thing to do is to fully grasp ball
The application of force is not only a forehand (backhand) problem, all mechanisms for applying force are same.
For example, when a forehand (forward) strike is strong, strike is relatively deep. In force process, racket must first face ball to apply force, and then must be ready. In order to store energy, there must be a process of accumulating energy and tension.
(2) There should be a bouncing sensation when force is applied
Many people play with ball by swinging it, but they don't use much force when swinging ball. Whether or not forehand (backhand) is executed correctly, it should be called a toss, and it should feel like snapping (clicking, clicking).
This type of rebound involves rapid application of force from moment racquet is drawn to moment ball is hit. Whether it is strength of waist and hips or strength of arms, it must be coordinated and coordinated in order to move forward. Swing quickly and create momentum, feel sensation of racket hitting ball suddenly so you can apply force.
The impact is same, friction is same. The fast rebound not only hits ball, but also quickly rubs against edge of ball. Only by realizing this, one can truly learn how to apply force.
Second, let's revisit this golfer's question. He said that when practicing pulling ball at a fixed point, should it feel like ball is being sent forward?
(1) Waist and hips push arms forward
This is correct understanding. Whether you are pulling ball or attacking ball, there should be a feeling of pushing (sending) forward. If hand is pushed forward, it becomes pushing hand. To send your arms forward, use your waist and hips to move your body's center of gravity forward to apply force.
The same is true when pulling up ball. If you focus on serving forward with your hands or wrists, you will feel like you won't be able to apply force, so you can understand that.
(2) When pulling ball, you must rotate your lower back and push your hips
Another issue we talk about a lot is hip thrust (hip twist, hip thrust). Actually, hip thrust does not mean that hip thrust does not mean that waist does not rotate, but waist must be rotated. The feeling of sending forward (meeting forward), not that you do not need to rotate waist to pull ball now, you need to rotate waist. Rotate waist to apply force, and rotate it to reduce degree of scale rotation of waist. Then decrease this degree, feel muscle force rush out instantly and reduce the degree of rotation.
This is reflected in shape, it looks like legs are pushed forward, knees are pushed forward, and hips are pushed forward. Make no mistake not turning your hips, this is a process of coordination and cooperation.
