Let's answer this golfer's question: how do beginners deal with backspin on court and backspin on stage?
1. How to deal with reverse rotation in a table
(1) Rubbing or a pendulum is usually used to combat table reverse rotation
For beginners, backspin ball on general table must be rubbed because it cannot reach twist or grip level, so rub and swing backspin ball on the short table usually.
(2) Problems to watch out for when rubbing or shortening
1. The range of motion should not be too large
In general, when rubbing, care should be taken not to overuse forearm down and forward too much, and also not to move wrist too much. ball on stage, i.e. it is usually sufficient to use short swing technique.
If you want to take initiative to move your wrist, then your wrist must be relaxed to touch bottom of ball. If you say racquet is more upright to cut ball, it's easy to get off net, so relax, catch ball softly and hard.
2. When rubbing ball, try to avoid spinning ball
When rubbing with backspin or side-spin, try to avoid spinning ball. If you're rubbing against front of ball with reverse spin, it's easy to eat spin. The surface of racket may lightly touch side of ball when friction of ball. For example, when forehand takes backspin, you can touch lower right side of ball to rub it so that it is not easy to eat ball's backspin. Although active spin is small, you can use reverse spin to rub back and spin ball, which is still strong. Some athletes eat their own spins during competition. For example, if they send out a low spin, opponent uses his spin to spin back, but they still can't get on stage. That's reason.
Second, a method to deal with long reverse rotation
(1) Attempt to draw a long backspin ball
Then you should try to pull out as much of backspin as you can. It is very passive to grind after insertion. Beginners should learn how to pull reverse spin.
(2) Pull Down Issues to Attention
1. The racket must be in place when performing reverse spin
When starting reverse spin, entire racket must be in place. If ball can't spin or topspin is pulled continuously if racket is out of place, it definitely won't be able to apply force. Therefore, it is necessary to complete introduction in advance. Slap down, and then try to pull racket back and down as much as possible so that wrist is in a relaxed state.
2. Take more pictures
The surface of racquet can also be as vertical as possible, don't push it too hard, take initiative to quickly swing racquet up and forward at moment it touches ball to create upward spin and friction.
