Now I will tell you how to pull ball backhand. There are two ways to pull ball, one is to rotate waist to apply force, and other is to rotate waist to apply force.
Today, Shifu is basically introducing you to basics of back-turn-waist-stretch-stretch-loop.
1. Position
The first stance is to twist waist and forcefully pull ball backwards. The right foot is in front of left foot and behind, and two feet are about 1.3 times shoulder width apart when standing apart.

1. Hand control
When racket is extended, center of gravity of body is pressed down, elbow joint is pushed forward, forearm is retracted to body, racket is retracted to left rear, racket is retracted to position of left abdomen, wrist is bent inward, and head of racket is almost right behind left. The action is a bit like that of a normal sword draw, action of drawing sword from waist position.
2. Wrist Control
When dribbling, pressure on face of our racket is relatively low, wrist flexes inward, and degree of flexion can be adjusted depending on incoming ball. Not much, because there is enough time; if it is said that when COSCO Taiwan is constantly receding, inward bending range will be slightly smaller to ensure a quick recovery.
3. Center of gravity control
When taking racket, center of gravity is pressed down, center of gravity is located on left leg, knee is bent.

During swing, waist pushes arm forward and up to right, forearm almost makes a 1/4 circle forward to right, and wrist follows force of forearm and extends forward. After hitting ball, shoulder, forearm and racket become almost a straight line.
Fourth, when practicing pulling ball, pay attention to following points:
1. The driving effect of waist. When learning to pull ball in a waist twist style, it is very important that waist moves arms.
2. Support function of elbow joint. The elbow support provides relative stability to shoulder and body. When body turns, elbow joint of shoulder goes out. It will not dissipate if it is always moving, movement of whole forearm will be unstable.
3. Adjust racket angle. Don't put too much pressure on racket while hitting ball. You can be more natural when you lead racket, and you can crush it a little when you lean back and in. But when hitting ball, face of racket should be about 70 degrees, if pressure is too strong, it will hit net, especially depending on situation of incoming ball. If reverse rotation is stronger, racket should stand more at moment it touches ball and apply more upward force .
4. Experience body coordination and cooperation. As you practice, you should feel relaxation of forearm and wrist, and you can feel force of rotation of belt moving arm, then whole stretch of ball will be very coordinated.
Some people can't pull ball to left because their arms and body don't touch, they can't use lower back strength, their buttocks move, and some people just don't move their lower body. body in general, only hands are thrown there. How could quality be obtained.
When you first get started, you don't have to ask for high quality. You just need to feel that belt moves your hands. It's normal if hands don't make any effort. forward, and quality will come out naturally.
Same with reverse rotation. In reception and delivery phase, center of gravity of reverse rotation should be lowered, and then exit after waiting. This is in order to have good control over point of impact. Pause and bring strength to your lower back.
5. Adjust body position at any time. When backspinning ball, you must first make sure that your body is in place and your legs are in place so that you can dribble better. .
6. Feel tension in right side of your abdomen. When pulling up ball, you should feel tension in right side of your abdomen. The strength of this area is tensed at moment ball is hit. If you don't feel it, you can push your right hip forward a little to feel it. Take this feeling and then you can lightly push your left foot forward to right to experience sensation of all force twisting forward to right.
This is first way of pulling ball from left presented today - a way to twist waist to apply force.
