This time, some popular inorganic adhesives were selected for evaluation, as well as three products from Pingpong.com, for a total of six products. Inorganic glue Nitaku and inorganic Liulan. It will be compared and judged on aspects of odour, consistency, cleaning difficulty, adhesion and film formation.
I used to use Ping-pong Net Tai Chi inorganic glue as a primer for oiling. The previous inorganic glue is good, no smell, primer has good elasticity, glue is easier to remove. Just recently, Pingpong.com released new No. 1 and No. 0 inorganic adhesives. As an old user of Pingpong.com products, this is first time I have received these two new products. At same time, we will test sticky board with No. 0 inorganic glue.
First, compare inorganic glue of three table tennis nets:
It can be seen that capacity of two new inorganic adhesives is 150 ml, which is 50 ml more than 100 ml of old model. Among following five parameters, two recently released inorganic adhesives have higher values in terms of elasticity and adhesion than older models. In terms of drying speed, old model Taiji inorganic adhesive has higher values, which means that its drying speed is faster. The new inorganic drying speed is slower and ball is not easy to clean.
6. Smell:
The old Taiji Wuji is almost completely tasteless, while new No. 1 inorganic glue has a very low odor and No. 0 has a weak taste due to high concentration of inorganic glue. The overall flavor is similar to No. 15. The smell of Nitaku Inorganic is slightly stronger than No. 15, and blue glue smell is strongest when opened.
Smell from young to old:
Pingpong Wangtaiji
7. Consistency:
These types of inorganic adhesives were packaged in pointed-nosed vials and squeezed through small holes for comparison. No. 0 Inorganic, Nitaku Inorganic, and Double Happiness No. 15 are relatively thick adhesives, while No. 0 Inorganic is thickest. The consistency of No. 1 inorganic and Liulan inorganic is similar, but not as thick as previous three. The Tai Chi ping pong net is the thinnest, and it is a very fine inorganic adhesive such as Dianchi Inorganic.
Matchhigh to low:
No.0 Inorganic>Nitaku Inorganic ≥Double Happiness No.15>No.1 Inorganic≈Liulan Inorganic>Pingpong Net Tai Chi
8. Drawing difficulty:
Due to varying consistency of these inorganic adhesives, I'm only estimating them roughly. Generally, these are thin adhesives that are easy to paint and not easy to roll, and resulting adhesive is not easy to paint. It has been found that although No. 0 inorganic adhesive is viscous, it is not easy to roll and is relatively soft, which may be due to formula.
Drawing difficultyfrom simple to complex:
Pingpong Net Tai Chi ≥ No. 1 inorganic ≥ Liulan inorganic ≥ No. 0 inorganic ≥ Double Happiness No. 15 ≥ Nittaku inorganic
9. Adhesion:
In wet areas, adhesion of inorganic adhesive is actually more important, especially when bonding one rubber and bottom plate, some thin layers of adhesive are easy to open. Among them, Nitaku has strongest inorganic binding ability.
Gripstrong to weak:
Nitaku Inorganic ≥ Red Double Happiness #15 ≥ Inorganic #0 > Liulan Inorganic ≈ Inorganic #1 > Pingpong Net Tai Chi
10. Film Forming Type:
Because consistency of each adhesive is different, thickness of same number of times of brush is also different, which cannot accurately reflect film-forming type of each adhesive. Here inorganic #1 and inorganic #0 are selected for testing and they are all on bottom plate. Clean car twice, effect will be as follows:
Finally, I tested glue #0 on sticky board. After primer was filled with oil, elasticity was high, and bottom strength was relatively sufficient. At same time, adhesive layer absorbs swelling oil at a faster rate. This also fast, and it is an inorganic adhesive that absorbs oil better. However, some inorganic adhesives do not "react" well with expansion oil. If primer is filled with oil, firstly, oil that lubricates bottom layer will not be easy to dry, and secondly, it will be more hard, stuffy and inelastic, which is not easy to hit. There are also inorganic adhesives with medium elasticity, which are not felt with a thin brush, but are clearly felt after application with a thick brush. I think these two types of glue are suitable for pasting coats. As for inorganic adhesive No. 0, it must be qualified as a base filling adhesive.
After evaluation, No. 1 and No. 0 inorganic adhesives are indeed better than previous inorganic Taiji. First of all, they are thicker, which can reduce amount of cleaning inorganic adhesives and reduce difficulty of removing adhesive. Secondly, although it is thicker, it is easier to comb and less prone to rolling. Combined with characteristics of stronger adhesion and greater elasticity, this can be described as a successful and perfect evolution. I like this update.
